Some books are printed in millions of copies. A good book written in one language is translated in to many languages. Books written in English, French, Chinese, Russian, and Japanese have wide circulation. These languages are understood by millions people.There are books written on different subjects.Some books are text books. These are meant for students. Others are general books or books of reference. Some books are meant for children, others for grown-up persons. We read books according to our tastes and need. Children are fond books containing stories, dramas adventures travels, etc. Some books deal with real facts, while other are fiction.Books are the means of education. It is difficult to educate persons without books. Books are good teachers. Books increase our knowledge. They give us the ideas of great men. We learn many good things from them. We can make our-selves noble and great by reading the work of great man. A writer has said that a good book is the life blood of a master spirit. Besides knowledge, books give us pleaser. It is very delightful to be lost, for the time being, in the World of books. Some books are very interesting, while others are dry. Books are also good companies. When we are lonely, we are enjoy, we can enjoy the company of books.All books are not good. There are many bad books. They teach us bad things and spoil our character. So we should make a careful selection of books. In choosing books, we should consult out teachers and parents. They can tell us the names of good books. We should read only those books that benefit us. We should not read bad books.We should read books, but we should not be book worms. Books should be read for some times; we should not always be absorbed in reading books l. We cannot be practical persons. We cannot face the world of realities.
